Who I am

I'm Andrea Cruz, a psychologist specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. My proposal is to offer a structured and welcoming space, where you are the centre of the process and each meeting has the objective of: understand what is happening, identify patterns that no longer work and create practical strategies for change.

I believe that therapy is a working in partnership (you bring your life experience, I bring the method and evidence-based tools). This combination allows us to move forward consistently, always with respect your rhythm and your needs.

I work with people who are looking for understand yourself better themselves, deal with challenging situations and make decisions more consciously. The focus is not just on relieving symptoms, but on developing skills to stay with you outside of the sessions, so that you feel better prepared to deal with whatever life throws at you.

Choosing a counsellor is choosing someone to walk beside you at important moments. My commitment is that this journey is conducted with transparency, technique and humanity.

Creating a new relationship between therapist and client: where every session is a step towards independenceand success is measured by the day you say 'I can look after myself'.

In my consulting room, I work with people experiencing different forms of emotional discomfort, from anxiety and the stress that drain energy, to professional demotivation and the burnout that silence enthusiasm.

I also welcome seekers self-knowledge, strengthen the self-esteem or build more secure and meaningful relationships.
